One of the things I enjoy most about Pakistani hip hop is that it actually speaks in the language spoken by its audience. Whereas much of the pop rock tradition is stuck using words like pukar, begana & dil haara (think about the last time you might have heard those words in actual conversation), it’s only in rap that you might hear someone suggesting that you khudday line someone else.
