This song from a particular high point of Faakhir’s solo career is such a cacophony of musical styles that it really shouldn’t work. But it does. The video is grand but tongue-in-cheek enough that low-budget bits are endearing. And Aaminah Haq is in this video, like she was in what seems to be every big music video around this time.
