Abbas Ali Khan's Sitaron Se Agay (ft. Lalarukh Abbas)

I found this song through the nominations for Best Song in this year’s Lux Style Awards. I didn’t have my money on Abbas Ali Khan rapping, but I like it. I shouldn’t be surprised however, his recordings span quite a range:

• Soft acoustic pop

• Electronic

• Singing Ameer Khusro, an almost semi-classical vocal with a soft acoustic backing

• A piano ballad accompanied with a vampire story

• On Zohaib Kazi’s solo album, alongside Sara Haider

• And this, one of his sweetest melodies. In his words: “No vampires this time, just plain and simple me jamming with my friends.”
