Aye Aye
A year ago, Kaky Thou$and was notable for being just 8 and rapping like the big guys. Aside of a growth spurt, his age is not relevant to why his music is good.
Like Young Stunners (who are similarly from Karachi), Kaky Thou$and and the Baloch crew of this rap scene, including featured artist Asif Balli, often rap about rap itself. Talking about rap is used as a way of establishing the artists as voices, of talking about the reality of their experiences, and of their own worth as people. I think it’s important to frame at least part of this emotion in the state of young people in urban Pakistan.
